Prices shown are in euro and are inclusive of vat at the rate applicable to that product. There will be an additional charge for delivery that is €5.95 on orders up to €50, all orders of €50 or above enjoy free delivery.

Purchasing

Shopping at myfancydress.ie  could not be easier. Simply browse through the large selection of Costumes, Fancy Dress Accessories, Party Goods, Jokes, add them to your shopping basket. Once you have finished shopping click on the checkout icon and complete your delivery details. You will then be taken to a secure server to complete your payment. Confirmation of your order (once payment has been confirmed) will be sent to you via email.

Availability

To the best of our ability only those items currently in stock are shown on our site. In the unlikely event of any item of stock being unavailable or delayed, we shall contact you by phone or e-mail to advise you of the new estimated time of delivery, together with, if appropriate, suggested alternative items. If you wish to change or cancel your order you can e-mail brusfancydress@gmail.com or by phone at 0860636201 and your order will be revised, or fully refunded.

Payment and Security

We accept segment accessible from the internet, ensuring you of the highest possible protection for your credit or debit card details Visa and Mastercard. All payments are processed using Paypal. Sensitive data is never held in any network segment accessible from the internet, ensuring you of the highest possible protection for your credit or debit card details.

Despatch and Delivery

Our deliveries are made from Monday to Friday (not including bank holidays). Deliveries placed after 1pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on Monday.

Subject to availability, goods will be dispatched within one working day of confirmation of order. Orders placed before 1pm are dispatched the same working day. DPD Express couriers will deliver to the delivery address supplied by you during the purchasing process and will normally be delivered the following working day after dispatch. Please note delays with the courier can take place during peak times such as Christmas, Halloween so order well in advance.

Check the tracking number we send and contact courier directly if their are any delays with your parcel with the tracking number provided. A standard delivery charge of €5.70 is applied on all orders up to €50, delivery is free on orders greater that €50.

Please note that delays may occur due to severe weather conditions or busy periods but DPD are almost 99.9% next day delivery.
If you are not available to accept a delivery the courier will make three more attempts to deliver your parcel the following days or contact you via phone. After this a note will be left and your order will be made available in your local depot for collection.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however, delays are occasionally inevitable. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales.

Returns and Refunds

If a customer wishes  to return a product bought on our site we must be notified via email or written letter within 7 working days of receiving the item(s) in question.  Item(s) must be returned to us within 5 days of such notification. Item(s) must be returned in the condition they were sent. Returns must include all parts of the original item to be eligible for refund. Packages must not be torn.  Costumes must not have been worn other than to try on. There must be no trace of make-up, perfume, smoke or any other odour. 

You will include a note explaining the reason for returning the Product with the returned items your name and order number. You will use registered post or recorded delivery when returning the Products.

Costumes that are received outside the returns period will be eligible for a credit note, subject to receiving the goods within 30 days of the order being received.

Upon delivery please inspect the items that have been delivered and confirm that the size you have ordered fits perfectly. Once an item has been worn to a party or shows signs of wear, beyond that of trying it on, it is no longer eligible for a refund. Therefore we ask you to inspect the items delivered, try them on (with the exceptions of wigs, hosiery and underwear which cannot be refunded for hygiene reasons) and decide if you wish to keep or return the item prior to using the costume or wearing it to your party. Please keep the packaging of the item and do not tear it until you have decided you are happy to keep the item.

Please note that we do not encourage the type of shopping where more than one item is purchased with the intent of trying them on and keeping just one. Where we believe a customer is ordering multiple items with the intention of returning the item orders may not ship and may be cancelled at our discretion. While we appreciate you might like to be the only person at the party wearing a costume or to buy several styles in case someone else at the party wears the same costume, we are unable to facilitate this due to the seasonal nature of our business.

Returned goods which do not meet the above criteria will be considered as 'In Dispute'. In Dispute products will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason will be given as to why the product is in dispute. We are happy to re-ship such items back at the customer's cost otherwise they will be destroyed after 30 days.

If on receipt of your delivery, you find an item to be of fault or to be damaged, please notify us within 24 hours by emailing info@myfancydress.ie or by using the contact us page. This will facilitate us to rectify the issue as returns of faulty goods without prior notification may be assumed to be damaged by the customer and denied a refund.

We will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day, we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. We will refund the price of a defective Product in full, any applicable delivery charges and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.

Shipping and packaging costs, both to and from us, will remain the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be for the purchase price of the costume only. If using our offer of free postage once your order value drops below this amount you will be charged for the original postage. The same applies to any special offers on Free postage during the year. 

For hygiene reasons there are no exchanges for personal items such as - False Teeth, Masks, Wigs, Stockings, Tights, Borat ManKini's, Eye Lenses, Underwear etc.

During our busy seasons of Halloween and Christmas, please allow up to 30 working days for refunds to be processed. All returns must be accompanied with a sheet with name, order ID, date of delivery and reason for return to facilitate us to process the refund promptly.

The customers statutory rights are not affected.

To ensure goods reach us safely, we advise you to use recorded delivery and arrange insurance against loss or damage. We cannot accept liability for returned goods that are lost or damaged during transit. All refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of return.

During our busy seasons of Halloween and Christmas please allow up to 14 Working days for refunds to be processed
